Ladies watchmaker BEDAT & Co GENEVE is honoured to be part of BaselWorld 2013, the prestigious and luxurious timepiece exhibition, in Hall 1 at Basel, Switzerland. The newly designed booth concept epitomises the essence of BEDAT & Co GENEVE, an Art Deco-inspired ambience with a special touch of a crystal chandelier to lighten up the new space, giving visitors an exceptional viewing experience.
This year, as fascinating as the new booth, ladies watch maker BEDAT & Co GENEVE in the same spirit will be unveiling its best of 2013 collections dedicated to all women admirably reflect the finest art and excellence of Swiss traditional craftsmanship and elegant feminist aesthetics.
Embodying the Art Deco design, the newly revamped Ref. 838 features a distinguishable and timeless cushion-shaped case with its crown integrated within the case middle, tailored to women with versatile lifestyle. Subtly geometric, the Ref. 838 was created on all plans: the transversal lines holding the bracelet to the case, the satin-finish bezel mixed with the polish-finish sides give a perfect balance between structure and harmony.
Slightly larger than Ref. 838, the Ref. 888 (diameter 43.00 mm) comes into choice of being as a pair watch to compliment the Ref. 838. Equipped with a mechanical automatic movement, the model offers a sapphire transparent caseback that comes in a satin-finished bezel with two dials executions: one tri-dimensional sunray dial – available in three colours: silver, anthracite and blue and a mother-of pearl guilloché version.
First time in BEDAT & Co GENEVE, the limited edition for both Ref. 838 and Ref. 888 feature the conspicuous use of black gold skeletonised “8” logo which can be seen through the transparent caseback. Specially designed Black Roman numerals mark the passage of time on its exquisite opalin guilloché dial illuminated by a play of dazzling diamonds on its bezel. Worn on either the signature “mille mailles” strap or a hand-stitched alligator strap, both are designed for greater comfort on the female’s wrist.
The recent sale of Extravaganza Vertical collection 2010-2012 has been one of the most notable achievements for BEDAT & Co GENEVE last year. Continuing the success of it, BEDAT & Co GENEVE presents its limited Extravaganza Collection 2013 – Ref. 325. Evolved from the iconic No.3 collection, this stunning piece displays two intertwining bezels, embodying a perfect blend of virtuoso artistry and technical perfection. Ref. 325 incarnates aesthetics in every subtle details: the mother-of-pearl dial imprinted with pearled Roman characters and indexes, the unique rotating diamond at 6 o’clock represents the traditional presentation of sweeping second hands, the crown part of the shape is designed for utmost comfort, not to mention the use of a total weight of more than 6 carats of alluring diamonds.
Apart from its quintessence of feminine elegance, this magnificent piece isequipped with a mechanical hand winding personalized BEDAT & Co GENEVE movement. The Ref. 325 surprises by the important size of the dial that enhances the geometry of the piece, available in rose gold, solid palladium white gold on alligator strap with new colours.
Creating sublimely extraordinary designs unique to women, Ref. 327 is certainly the most spectacular piece of Extravaganza novelty in 2013. Inspired by high-end jewellery, this exceptional piece is proposed on solid palladium white gold with a mechanical hand winding personalized BEDAT & Co GENEVE movement. The refined elegance and flawless beauty of this masterpiece includes 10.780 carat baguette-cut diamonds trapezoid caliber and intertwining curvy lines interplaying between the various parts. Utterly stunning, Ref. 327 accentuates a unique solitaire connecting the case at 6 and 12 position. Its flexible Vintage Trifari in-line bracelet (a.k.a Tennis bracelet) is made up of small square links of full pavé sparkling diamonds.
