LOS ANGELES, CA (28 September 2014) - Brand Ambassador Yolanda Foster thanked Bedat & Co. for supporting The David Foster Miracle Gala’s efforts in raising $8.2m for children needing organ transplants, adding: “We couldn’t have done it without you.”
Model and TV personality Yolanda, one of Bedat & Co.’s Women of Substance and star of US television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was speaking at the prestigious David Foster Foundation Miracle Gala which took place in Canada on September 27.
The event, held in Calgary, Alberta, also included a performance by British Bedat & Co. Brand Ambassador and Mezzo Soprano in Residence, Carly Paoli, accompanied on the piano by Yolanda’s husband and event host David Foster.
Speaking after the event, Yolanda said: “The David Foster Foundation raised $8.2m tonight. We could not have done it without supporters like Bedat & Co.
“It is incredible, anybody who supports us in giving back to the world, we are so grateful and so happy.
“Bedat & Co. is a brand that’s close to my wrist and close to my heart at all times.”
The Miracle Gala fundraising dinner was followed by live performances from Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson as well as Nottinghamshire-born Miss Paoli, 25, who was unveiled as a Bedat & Co Ambassador in September.
Yolanda said: “When I look at Carly, I want the Bedat & Co. brand to represent women like that. Women who are confident and feel good about themselves and walk on stage like that and speak or sing and bring a message to the world.
“Carly is amazing. She is gorgeous and beautiful and she has grace.
“I love the sound of her voice. We’re very grateful to have her here performing on this very special evening.”
Ms Foster is one of a number of Bedat & Co. Brand Ambassadors, appointed to honour the legacy of the Swiss luxury watch brand’s iconic founder, Madame Simone Bedat, who founded the company to cater specifically for women.
