BEDAT & Co GENEVE GALA DINNER 2013 - A DAZZLING ROYAL NIGHT OF GLITTERY GOLD AND BLACK
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The night on Saturday, 22nd November 2013 at Shook!, Starhill Gallery was mesmerizing glamorously with the distinguished guests of BEDAT & Co GENEVE’s Royal Gala Dinner gracing the red carpet in glittery gold and black.
The arrival of Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah along with Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, CBE - managing director of YTL Corporation, Mrs. Charmaine Low- marketing director of BEDAT & Co GENEVE, the craftsmen of timepieces for women marked the commencement of this lavish gala dinner, held in conjunction with Starhill Gallery’s annual event “A Journey Through Time VII”- the grandest watch and jewelry fair for consecutive 7th year.
The guests were indulged in sumptuous five course feasts followed by fashion show of 16 models strutted in BEDAT & Co GENEVE’s stunning collection of timepieces, including the new 2013 collections and all-time best sellers. The limelight of the night included a presentation of BEDAT & Co GENEVE’s extravaganza collection – Ref. 887 and Ref. 325.
BEDAT & Co GENEVE is a craftsman of fine timepieces for women, established in 1996 by Madame Simone Bédat. Living up the spirit of the royal gala dinner, Yannick Bovy, one of Belgium’s greatest musical talents, jazzed-up the night with few lovely songs including his first single “She’s Even More Beautiful” and “Getaran Jiwa”, a well-known Malay song composed and recorded by the late Tan Sri P.Ramlee. The song was adapted in 1970 by an international singer, Lobo, with title “Whispers in the Wind”. As one of the most prestige nights filled with ladies and gentlemen dressed up fabulously in glittery gold and black theme, the best dressed lady and gentleman were each awarded a BEDAT & Co GENEVE timepieces.
Bringing the best of Swiss watchmaking traditions and skills honed from decades of refinement, the night ended gracefully in the leading of accomplished compere Dato Yasmin Yusuff as the master of ceremony.
